EXTERIOR

Rustic cedar siding and stonework enhance Firefly’s relaxing, natural appeal. The two story home is tucked among the trees, overlooking a beautiful portion of the Russian River. Parking for 3-5 vehicles.

LIVING ROOM

The living area of Firefly Lodge features comfortable leather seating encircling the floor-to-ceiling fireplace, faced with river stones and a rustic log mantle. The fireplace’s gas flame and heat are controlled by a thermostat, and adjusted to suit your preferences. There is a TV with DVD, CD & VCR playing capabilities here inside the pine armoire, which also stores games, puzzles and other amusements.

KITCHEN

You'll love the large, spacious kitchen with its vaulted pine ceilings, skylight, and glass French doors opening to the deck. You'll find ceramic tile countertops, under cabinet lighting, and lots of storage cabinets and drawers. There's a four burner gas range, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator with icemaker, coffeemaker, and blender. The kitchen comes supplied with a large variety of pots and pans, charming china, glassware, tableware and cutlery. There are even some basic spices and condiments to get you started. All cleaning supplies and equipment are also provided. Just a few steps away on the deck you will find a large, stainless steel Weber gas barbeque for your grilling enjoyment.

DINING ROOM

The dining area is open to both the living room and kitchen. This open "great-room" area is perfect for gatherings of family and friends. There is a wall of French doors that may be opened to the outdoors, creating a wonderful indoor-outdoor living environment. The large rustic dining table, with its log base, is lit with an antler chandelier suspended from the open beamed pine ceiling with skylights above. The table seats up to 12 guests. All china, cutlery, glassware, and placemats are provided. The covered deck adjacent to the dining room has a large stainless steel gas-fired Weber BBQ grill and patio tables, easily seating 10+ for outdoor dining. The view from the dining room and the outdoor covered deck areas is panoramic.

RECREATION ROOM(S)

There are two adjacent recreation rooms on the lower level. One offers table tennis (ping pong). The adjacent room is a second recreation area. There you will find a game table, chairs for lounging, and a log daybed (we also call this the "Log Cabin Room" when we are discussing bedroom areas.) This room has two windows with wonderful river views. It also has sliding glass doors which open to the lower level deck. This deck, which overlooks the river, has a 5 person hot tub, chairs, and an outdoor shower.

BATHROOMS

Our bathrooms have modern amenities and charming rustic décor. The main level bath has a vaulted pine ceiling, and an enclosed glass shower. Look for pine doors, oil-rubbed bronze door hardware, rustic wooden bath hooks, charming rusted light fixtures, and art depicting local landscapes. The lower level bath has a tub/shower combination within a glass enclosure. The lower level bath has two entry doors: one from the recreation room and one from the Birch Bedroom (as seen in the photo).

BEDS

The rooms are appointed with high quality, pillow top mattresses and fine linens. Each bed is dressed with a comfortable down-alternative comforter, with additional blankets available in the central linen closet. The log trundle bed in the recreation room has two single-sized mattresses, that may be placed side-by-side, if desired.

Size:	Actually, this is two rooms in one. What looks like a reflection, is a second room. Each section of the room accommodates one queen-size bed with room to spare for a dresser and chairs.
Bath:	The bath is about 20 feet from this room (through the recreation area).
Decor:	There is an ample sized closet. There are three openable windows. A large picture window gives a view of the river. Two queen-size beds.
Birch Room
Beds:	One queen-size log bed
Location:	Lower level
Size:	This is a large room with a sitting area.
Bath:	It adjoins the lower level bath via a private entrance and opens to the recreation room through its main entrance.
Decor:	There is a large closet & charming rustic lighting. In addition, there is a sitting area with a comfortable chair and lamp. One Canadian white pine log bed (queen-size).
Cedar Room
Beds:	One queen-size log bed
Location:	Main level
Size:	This is a large, comfortable size room with a sitting area.
Bath:	It is across the hall from the main level bath.
Decor:	This room has vaulted pine ceilings, a Canadian white pine log bed (queen-size). There is a large closet with storage shelves in the interior, and charming rustic lighting. There are also two openable windows for ventilation, a ceiling fan, and a comfortable chair.
Pine Room
Beds:	One queen-size log bed.
Location:	Main level
Size:	This is the smallest of the four rooms, but it is comfortable and has a nice size closet..
Bath:	It is next door to the main level bath, but does not have an adjoining door.
Decor:	This room has a vaulted pine ceiling, two openable windows for ventilation, a ceiling fan, and a large closet. One Canadian white pine log bed (queen-size).
	Other Sleeping Options:
Log Cabin Room
Beds:	One single-size log daybed, with a second single-size mattress located on the trundle unit beneath. The trundle unit can be raised and used as a second single-sized bed, or may be placed along side the day bed and the two may be used as a large single unit.
Location:	Lower level. Adjoins the recreation area (with the ping-pong table), and has sliding glass door access to lower deck and spa. This room has a television with VCR/DVD/CD capabilities, a library of books, a game table and comfortable seating. The log daybed is a great place to nap, or read, or relax and enjoy the view.
Decor:	Rustic, skip-peeled log daybed, comfortable seating, a game table and chairs, lamps, end tables, television, and artwork. There is also a ceiling fan. This room has two windows and a sliding door with wonderful river views and a third window looking out at a beautiful, large bay tree.

DECKS / SPA

Firefly Lodge has two deck levels with great river views. The roof of the home extends open-beamed pine ceilings over the main level deck (12' x 32') and is adjacent to the dining room. It features a Weber, gas-fired Weber BBQ grill, patio tables seating 10+ for outdoor dining, and panoramic views. Three pair of fully functional French doors open along the dining room wall to create a unique indoor/outdoor living & dining environment. Another portion of the main level deck is uncovered. It is equipped with lounge furniture (including Zero Gravity reclining chairs and a comfortable round lounger for two) from which to enjoy Firefly's most spectacular views and to soak up the sun. The lower level deck has a 5 person Marquis spa with many special hydrotherapy features. There are also chairs for lounging and an outdoor shower. Firefly's watersports equipment includes two kayaks. Stairs descend from the lower level deck right to the water's edge for access to swimming, boating, fishing, etc.

RIVER / VIEWS

Firefly Lodge is situated in a choice location along the Russian River with unobstructed views ¼ mile up and down the river. You'll find spectacular views of nature, and the flurry of river activity ranging from birds such as heron, egret, and osprey, to a variety of fish including steelhead; and other creatures going about their day. You'll also see canoeists, kayakers & other water enthusiasts as they float by (typically during the months of May through October).
